I cannot take one more day of merrymaking.
Today we got back from the Berkshires and not a moment too soon. We had a great time and the kids loved playing with their cousins but I am so happy to be home in my own bed with my happy dogs snoring by my side.
David has been sick the last few days. Is my husband the only man that needs to be reminded to take Motrin when he is sick? He'll tell me all about how awful he feels and I'll ask, "Did you take some Motrin?" and I swear to you each time it is a fresh concept. "No, I haven't. Do you have some? Can you get it for me?"
I think he's starting to feel better since he was just asking me all kinds of questions. "Who are the Kardashian's? How did they get rich? Why do they have their own show?"
Why he thinks I have these answers is a mystery. I sent him off to google, the answer to all of life's questions.
So anyway, now I am home and Christmas must be dealt with. I determined to put everything away in a calm and organized fashion. I will not get bored and start throwing things in boxes because I cannot stand the tedium of putting it away. Probably.
I am spending some time thinking about my goals for the year, the things I want to change and accomplish. Exercise and flossing are both at the top of my list.
I am already into my new life as an athlete so flossing should be a piece of cake. Though for some reason remembering to floss daily seems harder to me than jogging two miles.
For now though I will be working very hard on being home and snuggling with my dogs.
I'll start flossing tomorrow.

Yes folks. She cranky... VERY cranky. I will not stoop to defend myself here because, well, my wife is ALWAYS right. Happy New Year...
Nope nope nope. She said toblerone was good and it's NOT!:P Other than that she is usually so sweet. I guess you won't be like the people down the street with christmas stuff still up in March.
Why would you expect David or any other man to remember to take a drug associated with menstrual cramps?
Sorry you are cranky. I get that way away from home too. Why would anyone want to go away form home when you can be home with your dogs! hehe
Feel better!
Hugs, Lisa
Those pugs are good at snuggles. You like the order of your sweet world. You're good at it. There is definitely something so precious and true in how we approach our own surroundings. YOU appreciate it. Confession: did not submit to Wii lessons. Did walk. Did get on the e-bike. New Year: get nice daughter to deliver Wii lessons, because husband and son are off to Asia. I'm proud of you, such a fine athlete!
What? David doesn't know anything about the Khardashians??? The man truly is sick! Did you fill him in on Khloe and Lemarr's wedding??? Did you tell him that although they look the same age, Kendall and Kylie are NOT twins. And does he know Khourtney and Scott just had their baby. And don't forget to tell him that Kim is famous for her sex tape. I will save the details of Bruce Jenner's facelift for another time. It's a lot to take in...I know. And he doesn't feel well.
I am sick too, and cranky. But I am proud to say I made it through Christmas with all the kids, grandkids and dogs here. I got sick the day after they left.
So my Christmas decor will be up another week.
Happy New Year to all of you, and feel better David.
Ah...I must try to remember that line, "Fun makes me cranky," because it does me, too. Reading your blog puts me in a better mood, though, so I will try to do more of it in the future.
