Preparing for snow...

Here in my little suburb of Boston, the news around town is all about the big old Nor' Easter we are expecting to come during the night and kill us all dead. Weather drama is my very favorite kind of drama. I start storm tracking days in advance of the first hint of snow and have my snow provisions stocked and ready.

My snow provisions include, but are in no way limited to:

1. Husband who will snow blow and shovel. This is a critical provision and critical to my enjoyment of a blizzard.

2. Ice cream. I don't think I really need to explain this.

3. One raw chicken. Chicken roasts beautifully on snowy days.

4. Murder mystery. I am reading Lie Down With The Devil by Linda Barnes and am enjoying it very much.

In addition to planning for the snow, I am thinking about culling some of my prized junk and having a junk giveaway at the end of the week. What do you guys think? Do you want my junk?

Over from the hip homeschool mom hop! We had lots of snow down here in the sunny south!! Very unusual for us. A white Christmas and an even whiter January 10!

I love the "kill us all dead" part. I was just telling my husband last night that Vermonters must think we're all a bunch of wimps down here in MA.

We had a dump of snow over night here too, but it is raining right now. So it is very slushy out. The kids are a bit disappointed but oh well...at least we do not have to spend the day shoveling like we did the last snow day LOL

Not much snow here, just ice. Fun!

Count me in for the giveaway.

Stay alive.

LMAO...you said JUNK!
On a adult note, we got 10" in WM and it was beautiful. I got my son to help me shovel because he "doesn't want to see me bent over for the rest of the winter"...for that he got $30 worth of Itune gift cards to load music. My husband beats feet for work everytime the snow comes, how a Chef is "emergency personel" is beyond me!
Now back to the childish me...I WANT YOUR JUNK!!!
