My heart...

I have two children.

This one...

She's my heart.

I have understood her completely every day of her life. I gave birth to her, looked at her and knew her.

Sometimes she looks like this.

She's my worrier. She's probably thinking that right now, somewhere in the world is a kitty who needs help. Or a flower which needs to be watered. Or an ant that is about to be stepped on.

She's like this a lot too. Her sister, who is my soul, makes Rebecca laugh and smile like this every single day. They are quite a team.

You all need to know that I have no idea where that hair came from. Rebecca's bad hair days look a lot like my good hair days. It boggles my brains.

If it's wrong to envy your eleven year old daughters hair then DON'T TELL ME. I don't want to know.

Oh my. She's adorable here. If the hair doesn't come from David's side, it's likely a Duford thing. Definitely not a Hebert thing, thank god.

Wrong? About envying your 11-yo daughter's hair? Nah. Natalie, who's turning 13 on Saturday, has cleavage down to her knees.

Your sweet daughter is beautiful!!! Mine turns 20 in October and I have no idea where the years went. It seems like yesterday I was bringing her home from the hospital. You have a lovely family. Enjoy and be proud.

David just doesn't know where his scrotum ends and his head begins.

I envy your daughter's hair, and I don't blame you a bit for envying it, too. Beautiful pictures!

The blessings of daughters. That motherly "I'm in awe of you" is nectar to the self image. Not all kids have the sweet gift of mama grace. Sad. You are superb mother, Sara.

I, too, suffer from daughter hair envy. I think it's because they haven't reached the age to start "experimenting" with perms and colors every 20 seconds. With her nature, I wouldn't be surprised if she donates it.
