Pictures...

Today I worked on the walls around my new dressing table. I put an old room divider behind it because the blank corner behind it was bothering me.

I hung a lot of pictures. Some are photos and some are drawings by Lily.

Here's a picture of me and my mom. I had an awful haircut. I'm still not over the horror.

Look at this lovely picture that Lily drew. Such a sweet child.

Here's my radiator. Radiators are a pain in the butt because they pretty much kill an entire corner of the room.

Remember that sweet child I was telling you about? She drew this.

I don't know what goes on in that strange child's head.

Rebecca has never drawn a picture of a prisoner. I've never drawn a picture of a prisoner. I don't know anyone who has ever drawn a picture of a prisoner.

Weird kid.

Love your room! You know WHY could they not figure out how to cut a little girls hair short??? I had the SAME cut so did my brother. It's just crazy!! Before us and after us no problem but back then NO ONE knew what to do! Thanks for sharing.
Hugs, Lisa

I like the way it looks with the room divider behind it.

What a sweet photo of you. I love the screen in the corner. Corners can be difficult but you solved the problem. I also just read your post on your driveway paint job and I LOVE IT! Your yellow building/office is wonderful too.
have a good sunday evening.

Total loveliness! It must be sheer joy to sit at that dressing table. I like the mix of pictures on the walls, especially your kids' artwork. The inmate cracks me up, complete with the hat and numbers!

Looks lovely. And I am cracking up at the prisoner drawing. When my daughter was young she once drew a picture of me sitting in a wheelchair??? HUH! I never had a problem and she never saw me in a wheelchair. Go figure!

Your dressing area sure has turned out great. The drawings make it feel extra special. The prisoner artwork will keep things interesting, makes a great conversation piece!

Sorry to hear the sad news about kitty. Hope your week gets a little better.
